Alice & Simon’s autumn Bimbadgen Palmers Lane wedding was a celebration filled with warmth, romance, and layered detail. Because they wanted a day that felt deeply personal, every design element was chosen with intention. Similarly, the venue setting provided rolling hills, tranquil water views, and golden afternoon light that perfectly framed their vows. As a result, their wedding was heartfelt, stylish, and seamlessly tied to the Hunter Valley landscape.
The design brief
Our couple’s design brief focused on creating a warm and refined atmosphere. Because they loved autumnal colour palettes, we incorporated rust, terracotta, and deep burgundy alongside soft neutral tones. On the other hand, texture was just as essential as colour. For this reason, we layered natural linens, antique silver, glowing candlelight, and earthy muslin runners. Ultimately, the goal was a wedding that felt inviting, intimate, and rich with detail.
Featured pieces from our collection
Cross-back chairs – Relaxed vineyard charm that complemented the natural setting while remaining refined.
Antique silver candle holders – Added vintage character and soft metallic accents for depth and contrast.
Dinner candles – Tall, glowing tapers in warm tones created romance and vertical interest across the tables.
Linen tablecloths – Provided a soft, textured foundation that balanced rustic wood with understated refinement.
Linen napkins – Offered tactile luxury and a gentle contrast against timber tables and silver accents.
Muslin table runners – Introduced autumn warmth and layered texture, pulling the entire palette together.
Aida glass votives – Scattered along the tables for flickering light that enhanced intimacy.
Timeless cut tumbler glasses – Elevated each place setting with classic, versatile design that paired seamlessly with the rustic-meets-refined look.
All about florals
Then came the florals, which brought the palette to life. Firstly, bouquets featured soft roses, creamy blooms, and textured greenery that paired beautifully with the bridesmaids’ rust-toned gowns. Secondly, the arbour arrangement showcased natives, roses, and foliage in cascading abundance. Not to mention, the reception florals were kept low and textural, pairing perfectly with candlelight and allowing conversation to flow. As a result, the florals unified the entire event while adding natural movement and depth.
Custom graphic design details
Custom signage ensured cohesion and flow throughout the celebration. Firstly, a terracotta-toned welcome sign greeted guests with warmth and character. Then, a clean seating chart guided guests seamlessly into the reception. Similarly, menus tied back to the earthy tones, carrying the palette across every layer of the design. Because of this, the graphic details were both practical and stylish, reinforcing the couple’s aesthetic.
