Modern Wedding Styling in NSW

From the first conversation, we knew Alice and Corey’s wedding would be one for the books. They came to us with a clear vision: modern, elevated, and effortless. Nothing overdone or traditional for the sake of tradition.  Something beautiful, something intentional, and something that actually felt like them.

So that’s what we created. A timeless but contemporary celebration that brought together clean design, layered textures, and just the right amount of drama. This is modern wedding styling in NSW done the right way.

The Design Brief

Alice and Corey’s brief was grounded in elegance, but not in the way that feels stiff or fussy. Our couple were drawn to a more minimal, natural style with refined details and a slightly moody edge. Think: sleek silhouettes, rich green foliage, creamy whites, warm lighting, and architectural florals.

Alice and Corey also wanted the whole day to feel cohesive and beautifully balanced, from the welcome sign at the ceremony entrance to the last flicker of candlelight under the marquee. Modern wedding styling in NSW at its best. Intentional, elevated, and deeply reflective of the couple.

Key Styling Highlights

The ceremony was held in the gardens of Redleaf Wollombi, one of our favourite NSW venues for its warm stone tones, towering hedges, and European countryside vibe.

We styled a white arbour draped with florals and flanked it with sculptural arrangements that framed the couple without distracting from the view. Guests entered down a gravel path lined with lush greenery, a little taste of Tuscany right in the Hunter.

For the reception, a marquee sat proudly on the lawn, layered with crisp white linen, layered textures, and soft lighting. We used natural tones throughout: rattan, brushed gold, and neutral florals that warmed up beautifully at golden hour. For us, this is exactly what modern wedding styling in NSW is all about: considered choices, a strong creative vision, and seamless execution across every element.

Featured Pieces From Our Collection

Alice and Corey’s event featured some of our most requested styling pieces, and for good reason.

Scalloped Plinths: These soft white plinths added sculptural height and made the ceremony florals feel elevated and intentional.

Glass Cylinders: Layered at varying heights, these clear vessels gave our pillar candles a modern, minimal frame.

Pillar Candles: Warm ivory tones and staggered sizing brought softness and glow to both ceremony and reception styling.

Louis Dining Chairs: These classic timber chairs offer elegant rattan feature and timeless character without feeling too formal.

White Linen Tablecloths: Clean and crisp, they formed a neutral canvas for every styling detail to shine.

White Linen Napkins: Softly folded on each setting, they added relaxed texture with refined polish.

Brushed Gold Cutlery: Understated but luxe, this cutlery brought warmth and a subtle point of difference.

Pink Dinner Candles: A gentle pop of colour that tied in with the floral palette and added a touch of romance.

Candle Sleeves: Sleek and protective, these clear covers added height and a refined finish to each taper candle.

These selections are part of our signature hire collection, which is frequently used in modern wedding styling in NSW to create spaces that feel as inviting as they are stylish.

All About Florals

The florals for Alice and Corey were a lesson in restraint, and that’s exactly what made them stand out. We went for sculptural shapes and textural depth instead of huge explosions of colour.

Cream roses, reflexed tulips, orchids, and trailing amaranthus made up the core of the palette, supported by minimal greenery and warm-toned foliage. Every element was placed with intention, not too much, not too little. Modern wedding styling in NSW often leans into this kind of restrained elegance, where fewer elements, used well, have more visual impact.

Custom Graphic Design Details

From the start, Alice and Corey wanted their graphics to feel like an extension of the styling, not an afterthought. We created custom signage, menus, and place cards that spoke the same visual language: minimalist fonts, clean layouts, and soft, tonal colour palettes.

The welcome sign and seating chart were designed in-house to complement the floral palette and the layout of the marquee, so everything felt tied together and effortlessly chic.

Personal touches like this are a small detail with big impact. They’re exactly what take an event from beautiful to unforgettable.
