From the very beginning, McGuigan House wedding styling became the perfect canvas for Kriti and Sonaal’s celebration. Rather than following a traditional wedding aesthetic, they embraced colour, culture and thoughtful design that felt completely personal. As a result, every space offered guests something new to discover.
Meanwhile, McGuigan House provided beautiful gardens, open lawns and wide country views that allowed each part of the celebration to unfold naturally. Instead of relying on one feature, the styling worked alongside the landscape to create movement throughout the day.
Most importantly, this celebration honoured Indian wedding traditions while introducing a fresh and modern design direction. Consequently, every detail felt vibrant without becoming overwhelming. Throughout the day, guests moved between ceremony spaces, outdoor lounges and the marquee reception, creating an experience that felt relaxed and full of energy.
The Design Brief
From our first conversations, the vision centred around creating an event that felt joyful, contemporary and welcoming. Rather than filling every space with décor, we focused on selecting pieces that would work together to create impact through balance and repetition.
Equally, colour played an important role. While the Haldi celebration embraced warm sunset shades of saffron, orange and gold, the wedding stationery introduced rich jewel tones that shifted through magenta, violet and teal. As a result, every event had its own identity while still feeling connected.
Meanwhile, our McGuigan House wedding styling also celebrated the venue itself. Instead of competing with the sailcloth marquee, we highlighted its beautiful structure using suspended greenery, long uninterrupted tables and warm timber furniture. Consequently, guests immediately noticed the incredible scale of the reception space.
Likewise, every guest area was designed with intention. Whether guests gathered in one of the vintage lounge settings, explored the gardens or found their seats beneath the marquee, each transition felt effortless.
Graphic Design & Signage
Thoughtful graphic design has the power to bring every part of a wedding together, and for Kriti and Sonaal, it became one of the strongest visual threads across the entire celebration. Rather than treating signage as a practical necessity, we designed a custom stationery suite that reflected the energy and personality of each event.
For the Haldi celebration, we embraced warm sunset tones of yellow, orange and amber that echoed the joyful traditions of the ceremony. Meanwhile, the wedding introduced a completely different colour story, featuring layered gradients of magenta, violet and teal that felt bold, contemporary and full of depth. As a result, every event maintained its own distinct identity while still feeling connected as one cohesive celebration.
Throughout the venue, these custom graphics appeared across welcome signs, the seating chart and bar menus, creating visual consistency from the moment guests arrived until the final drinks of the evening. Consequently, the signage became part of the styling itself rather than simply providing information.
